How does a traveler reserve and make payment?

Bali Local Stays gives hosts full control over payments and reservations. All transactions are arranged directly between you and your guest—Bali Local Stays does not hold or process your funds.

As a host, you choose which payment methods you accept. With our integrated Xendit payment system, guests can pay using credit cards.

When a traveler wants to book, they can select their dates and send a booking request. You will receive a notification and have the option to accept or decline the request—there’s no instant booking, so you’re always in control.

Once you accept a booking and payment is made, the dates are automatically blocked on your calendar to prevent double bookings.

If a guest isn’t ready to book, they can send you an inquiry or contact you directly using the details you’ve made public on your listing. This allows you to answer questions and arrange bookings however you prefer.

If you arrange payment outside of Bali Local Stays, simply mark the booking as confirmed in your dashboard. This will block the dates on your calendar and let us know you’ve received a booking, even if the payment was handled separately.
